Simon Laidely has had 12 years experience in a variety of compliance and project management roles within the Financial Services industry and fulfills the role of General Manager of SCS. Previously, Simon has managed projects implementing a variety of major legislative changes within the financial services industry and has also been involved in numerous licensing projects. Simon holds a Bachelor of Laws.
Mary-Jane Gibb is a Compliance Liaison Officer at SCS. She has had 13 years experience working with corporate and public offer superannuation funds, including 7 years as a fund administrator and 6 years as a compliance officer. Mary-Jane holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Computer Applications) and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation).
Donna Henderson is a Compliance Liaison Officer at SCS. Prior to working with SCS, Donna worked with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission investigating breaches to financial services laws. Donna has a number of years service within various government agencies including the Department of Justice and Attorney General and the Corrections Department. Donna is a Justice of the Peace (Qual), holds a Certificate IV in Government Investigations and a Diploma of Justice Administration, and is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Superannuation. Donna has completed numerous industry related short courses and in 2001, was awarded a Griffith Award of Academic Excellence for her studies in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Kylie Seymour-Clarke is the Compliance and Training Officer at SCS. She has 8 years experience working in the superannuation industry. Kylie has spent time in administration roles with QSuper, and in Trustee Services with industry funds. Kylie holds a degree in Government from Smith College.
Susy McCarthy is a Compliance Liaison Officer at SCS and has more than 11 years experience in compliance regulation, including over 4 years with ASIC conducting listed and unlisted disclosure surveillance, granting exemptions and modifications of the Corporations Act, Corporations Law and AFS licensee surveillance, and project work. Before her ASIC role, Susy was an assistant portfolio manager in St.George Bank's structured finance team, assisting in the management of large complex, tax-based transactions and two venture capital funds. Susy holds degrees in Law and Psychology from the University of New England.
David Smith is the Internal Auditor at SCS. He has 15 years of external audit experience in the Queensland public sector; including audits in the superannuation, financial services and corporate treasury sectors of the Queensland Government. David’s role at SCS is to deliver high quality, risk-based internal audit programs that provide assurance to our clients over the effective operation of key internal controls over their systems and processes. David holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) degree and is a Certified Practicing Accountant with CPA Australia.
Vanessa Raward is a Client Training Manager at SCS. With over 12 years experience in the financial services industry, Vanessa has held a variety of customer service, administration and training roles, including positions with QSuper & ASFA. In her current role, Vanessa coordinates the ongoing training programs for both AFSL and RSE representatives, and delivers a range of workshops and online training packages for superannuation fund trustees and administration staff. Vanessa holds a Business degree with Accounting & Management majors, Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training, and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Superannuation).
Anne Guitman is a Client Training Manager at SCS. Anne’s experience in the Superannuation Industry spans over 17 years where she has worked in training, communications/marketing and plan administration roles with a number of companies including Suncorp, AMP, Supercorp and Precision administration services. As a Client Training Manager, Anne’s responsibilities include training projects and the delivery of a range of workshops and online training packages for superannuation fund trustees and administration staff. Anne holds a Degree in Education, a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training and RG146 qualifications.
